The People Person's Paper People:

2006 Dunder Mifflin Scranton

Topic A: Paper
Topic B: People

Chair: AJ Skiera

Director: Josh Zuchniarz

“Hello Delegates,

It is my distinct privilege to serve as your Crisis Director and architect of The People Person's Paper People: Dunder Mifflin Scranton 2006. Yes, this committee is all about the television show The Office. I have served as Crisis Director in ten conferences and it has been the realization of a long-held dream to have this committee be my last one. I am a senior majoring in history and political science and minoring in international studies and philosophy. I’ll be graduating just a few short weeks after MICSUN, so let’s make this a blast!

While I intend to follow some major plot arcs of The Office, I of course am looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with regarding your personal crisis plans. I am an expert in all things Office – I have seen the entire show no fewer than 8 times. I have fought to host this committee each year at MICSUN for the last three years, and I finally prevailed. You’re welcome. Let’s not disappoint, shall we? In conducting research for this committee I would encourage you to watch The Office, which is pretty easy homework. Seasons 2 through 6 should serve you the best. You should definitely come with an understanding of the characters’ relationships with each other and what big picture plot arcs happen concerning Dunder Mifflin. There are dedicated wiki pages (like Dunderpedia) available for your expedited use.

This goes without saying, but this of course will be the most engaging, most vibrant, and most funny committee in all of MICSUN’s history, and the Chair will be the Butch Cassidy to my Mozart, my Assistant to the Regional Manager, Josh Zuchniarz. You may email me at a.skiera@umiami.edu at any point before MICSUN with any questions about committee or crisis more generally.

Yours, Infamously,

AJ Skiera”
